QHSE Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Ensure the maintenance of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications, regulatory compliance, and KPI monitoring.

• Facilitate internal, external, and customer audits.

• Manage non-conformities and develop action plans.

• Oversee document control and conduct management reviews.

• Implement best practices and mentor local teams.

• Assist process owners and streamline QHSE requirements.

• Utilize change management strategies to enhance QHSE adoption.

• Train and coach teams to promote continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability.

• Establish health and safety frameworks.

• Perform risk assessments and execute preventive measures.

• Lead the Health & Safety Committee.

• Monitor health and safety performance and adopt corporate best practices.

• Serve as a strategic partner and coach to leaders throughout the organization.

• Potentially oversee one or more QHSE team members as organizational needs evolve.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

• Over 5 years of QHSE experience, preferably in the manufacturing sector.

• In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and health and safety regulations.

• Internal Auditor certification is advantageous.

• Demonstrated success in project management, process improvement, and structured problem-solving.

• Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to influence without formal authority.

• Adaptability and comfort in driving cultural and organizational change in uncertain environments.

• Collaborative mindset focused on co-creation, capability enhancement, and a proactive QHSE culture.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and French, both written and spoken.

• Ability to translate complex compliance requirements into straightforward, actionable solutions.

• Experience in people management or supervisory roles is a plus.
