QA Tester

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Develop, maintain, and implement comprehensive end-to-end and regression testing suites.

• Transform repetitive manual processes into automated scripts utilizing low-code testing tools such as Playwright CodeGen and Selenium IDE.

• Provide updates on testing progress, test coverage, bug metrics, and release readiness to the Program Manager.

• Work in collaboration with the Business Analyst to translate user stories and software requirements into well-structured test scenarios.

• Communicate technical bugs to the Development Team and validate fixes during ongoing development sprints.

• Manage the entire lifecycle of defect tracking and user support tickets using Azure DevOps.

• Document bugs, edge cases, and user issues including reproduction steps, environment configurations, and visual attachments.

• Assess incoming user issues to determine if they are related to training, data synchronization latency, or software defects.

• Conduct testing on mobile GPS location tracking, map displays, and offline functionality.

• Ensure that field data is synchronized once cellular connectivity is restored.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen eligible for Public Trust clearance.

• 4 years of professional experience in Software Testing (QA/QC).

• Experience in designing and maintaining structured end-to-end and regression test frameworks.

• Practical experience in creating, updating, and organizing bugs, tasks, and test plans within Azure DevOps or Jira.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within an Agile team structure.

• Experience in testing native mobile applications on both iOS and Android platforms.

• Knowledge of mobile permissions, including location and camera access.

• Understanding of network interruption behaviors.

• Excellent written communication skills.

• Capability to write clear and unambiguous bug reproduction steps.

• Experience with or a strong willingness to learn visual test recording and automation tools.

• Familiarity with Postman, Playwright, or browser developer tools.
