QA / Test Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create and implement functional test cases for account creation, call/challenge/pool flow, and outcome resolution.

• Conduct testing against the SECURITY DEFINER RPC layer instead of direct table access.

• Assist the QA Lead with testing related to settlement paths and money movements.

• Test age-gating and identity-verification processes whenever possible.

• Utilize seeded test accounts and client-supplied data while adhering to specific handle formatting.

• Document defects with clear reproduction steps in the shared tracking system.

• Perform re-testing after issues have been resolved.

• Work collaboratively with the client and QA Lead throughout the interview and delivery phases.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong experience in QA and test engineering for modern web applications.

• Proficiency in SQL/Postgres for data validation and result verification.

• Familiarity with Next.js or similar JavaScript frameworks, as well as API/RPC testing.

• Meticulous and detail-oriented approach to test execution.

• Ability to report reproducible defects in clear, concise written English.

• Experience with payments, wallet, or transaction testing is a plus.

• Knowledge of Supabase/Vercel is advantageous.

• A keen interest in real-money platform testing and a trajectory toward settlement work is a plus.

• Persona credentials may be required for testable identity-verification processes.
