QA / Test Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create and implement functional test cases for essential user journeys, such as account creation, call/challenge/pool flow, and outcome resolution.

• Conduct testing against the SECURITY DEFINER RPC layer instead of direct table access.

• Assist the lead in testing related to settlement paths and money movement.

• Test age-gating and identity verification flows when applicable, depending on the availability of Persona credentials.

• Utilize seeded test accounts and data provided by clients while adhering to precise handle formatting.

• Document defects with clear reproduction instructions in the shared tracking system.

• Perform re-testing after fixes have been applied.

• Engage in recruiter and client interview processes and complete onboarding with support from Ubiminds.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong QA/test engineering experience with modern web applications.

• Proficiency in SQL/Postgres for data validation and result verification.

• Familiarity with Next.js or similar JavaScript frameworks and API/RPC testing.

• Meticulous and detail-oriented test execution.

• Ability to report reproducible defects in clear, written English.

• Experience with payments, wallet, or transaction testing is a plus.

• Knowledge of Supabase/Vercel is a plus.

• Interest in testing real-money platforms and a career path toward settlement work is a plus.
