QA Test Analyst – Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Analyze business requirements and acceptance criteria.

• Develop and implement test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.

• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.

• Validate workflows in insurance and customer journeys.

• Identify, document, and manage defects using Jira.

• Engage in sprint planning, refinement, and release activities.

• Maintain and execute current automated test suites.

• Assist in creating new automation scripts utilizing FitNesse, Playwright, Selenium, and API automation tools.

• Enhance automation coverage while minimizing manual testing efforts.

• Advocate for shift-left testing strategies and work closely with developers and analysts to catch defects early.

• Spot opportunities to enhance quality processes and create reusable test assets.

• Contribute to the management of test data.

• Perform performance and load testing with JMeter.

• Validate integrations between internal systems and third-party services.

• Support API and interface testing efforts.

• Assist in root cause analysis for production issues.

• Explore and integrate AI-assisted and emerging testing technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5 years of experience in software testing.

• Proficient in executing manual test cases.

• Strong grasp of software testing principles.

• Familiarity with Jira and Agile delivery methodologies.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with Australian stakeholders.

• Experience in automation testing is preferred.

• Knowledge of FitNesse, Selenium, or Playwright is a plus.

• API testing experience is advantageous.

• Skills in SQL and database validation are preferred.

• Experience with SaaS products is desirable.

• Familiarity with offshore or distributed teams is a benefit.

• Experience in the insurance industry is advantageous.
