QA Manual Test Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Develop, implement, and sustain comprehensive test cases and test plans for web applications.

• Conduct functional, regression, UI/UX, negative, and integration testing across various features.

• Confirm workflows associated with web applications, accounting, AR/AP payments, and user permissions.

• Record defects with clear reproduction steps, supporting evidence, and severity levels.

• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to clarify acceptance criteria.

• Engage in test-readiness evaluations and provide sign-off for production launches.

• Report test progress, risks, and defects in a structured and objective manner.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience in manual QA for web applications.

• Proficient in drafting detailed test cases and defect reports.

• Knowledge of tools like Jira, TestRail, or comparable QA platforms.

• Capability to analyze complex workflows (financial, multi-step, or data-driven).

• Experience in basic validation testing of REST APIs (using Postman or similar tools).

• Ability to work independently within remote, fast-paced, project-oriented teams.

• Preferred: Experience with SaaS products in Fintech, payments, or enterprise workflow systems.

• Preferred: Familiarity with CI/CD release cycles and agile delivery processes.

• Preferred: Exposure to testing in environments where AI-assisted coding tools enhance development.

• Preferred: Understanding of secure data handling protocols in finance or compliance-related fields.
