QA Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of release confidence from start to finish: Establish release readiness criteria and facilitate go/no-go decisions.

• Remove black-box testing and introduce transparent regression tracking.

• Integrate QA into sprint refinement and feature design processes.

• Design and enhance our quality architecture: Develop regression strategies by domain (billing, scheduling, authorization, claims, data import).

• Establish test traceability from story to execution.

• Develop test data strategies for validating complex workflows.

• Create and prioritize an automation roadmap.

• Engage hands-on throughout the stack: Conduct manual and exploratory testing, along with API-level validation for web and mobile.

• Assess intricate business rules and billing logic.

• Construct and maintain automation suites (such as ACCELQ or similar tools).

• Collaborate with engineering to enhance unit and integration test coverage.

• Lead and promote a quality culture: Mentor and guide QA activities (US, nearshore, offshore).

• Advocate for shift-left thinking within engineering.

• Establish quality metrics and conduct defect escape analysis.

• Clearly and decisively communicate risks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of QA experience with a focus on release ownership.

• Experience in testing web and mobile applications.

• Background in building or designing automation frameworks (codeless or coded).

• Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps (including boards, test plans, and pipelines).

• Understanding of CI/CD workflows.

• Experience testing complex business logic or systems driven by configuration.

• Preferred experience in healthcare or HIPAA-related fields.

• Strongly preferred experience in EHR, billing, or regulated software.
