QA Engineer – Gameplay Data

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Set up, configure, and manage collection and quality assurance software on personal devices.

• Implement structured testing protocols and conduct exploratory QA both prior to and during data collection sessions.

• Detect and replicate bugs.

• Collect crash logs and screenshots.

• Produce clear, step-by-step instructions for reproducing issues.

• Document and convey findings through written communication on Slack.

• Raise urgent issues to team leaders.

• Validate hardware against target performance metrics, including 1080p60 output using an RTX 3060-class GPU or similar.

• Ensure session reliability by maintaining redundant internet connections.

• Filter extraneous information and provide concise, high-quality technical feedback to client engineering teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Educational qualifications in IT/Computer Science or equivalent practical experience in technical support and troubleshooting.

• Strong familiarity with Windows PC hardware configuration, driver updates, GPU settings, and basic networking principles.

• Capability to interpret system logs and articulate technical information clearly in writing.

• Proficiency in written English for daily asynchronous and live interactions via Slack.

• Dependable full-time availability with the flexibility to align working hours with client teams.

• Personal computer capable of delivering RTX 3060-class GPU / 1080p60 performance.

• Preference for a dual ISP or equivalent backup internet connection.

• Previous experience in game QA, software QA, or data-collection operations is a plus.

• Familiarity with crash dumps, observability tools, or bug tracking systems is an advantage.
