QA Engineer – Core Database

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance frameworks for test automation while creating automated test cases.

• Experiment with new features to ensure seamless integration into production.

• Conduct testing for cross-functional implementations among internal ClickHouse teams.

• Establish testing strategies and automation for large-scale, complex distributed systems.

• Assess new ClickHouse functionalities with each release.

• Discover opportunities for enhancement within the existing codebase.

• Refine and optimize the current testing infrastructure.

⛳️ Requirements

• In-depth understanding of SQL.

• Previous experience in a related SDET, Release Engineering, or QA position focused on classical databases or distributed systems.

• Practical experience with a programming language such as Python, Go, or C++.

• Capability to read C++ code for validation purposes.

• Proficient in Git, Linux, and shell scripting.

• Experience in both manual and automated testing.

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience with SQL database debugging.

• Strong skills in production debugging.

• Ability to work effectively with remote teams.

• Exceptional communication abilities.

• Quick learner of complex technology in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
