QA Engineer – Core Database

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance test automation frameworks, as well as create automated test cases.

• Test new features to ensure a seamless deployment into production.

• Conduct testing for cross-functional implementations among internal ClickHouse teams.

• Implement testing strategies and automation for large-scale, complex distributed systems.

• Assess new ClickHouse functionality with each release.

• Spot opportunities for enhancement within the current codebase.

• Engineer and refine existing testing infrastructure.

⛳️ Requirements

• In-depth understanding of SQL.

• Prior experience in a similar SDET, Release Engineering, or QA role related to a traditional database or distributed system.

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in debugging SQL databases.

• Practical coding experience in Python.

• Capability to read C++ code for validation purposes.

• Proficient knowledge of Git, Linux, and shell scripting.

• Experience in both manual and automated testing.

• Strong skills in production debugging.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams.

• Excellent communication abilities.

• Quick learner of complex technologies in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
