QA Engineer, Blockchain

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, customer support, and partners to ensure the delivery of high-quality products.

• Engage in Agile ceremonies and contribute to ongoing improvement efforts.

• Design, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts.

• Conduct both manual and automated testing for backend systems, APIs, databases, and distributed services.

• Identify, analyze, track, and report defects, including performing root cause analysis on failures.

• Execute testing for new features while documenting test scenarios and anticipated behaviors.

• Promote QA best practices to enhance overall test coverage and product quality.

• Carry out performance, security, and scalability testing for backend services.

• Lead QA testing for big data initiatives, automation framework setup, data comparison scripts, and enhancements to the release process.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in QA engineering, with a solid background in backend testing and automation.

• Proven hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing throughout the complete testing lifecycle.

• Proficient in Java, Python, or JavaScript, along with experience using automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.

• Strong understanding of APIs, databases, microservices, CI/CD, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

• Familiarity with QA efficiency tools, AI/LLM, performance testing, and security testing.

• Experience with StarRocks, Kafka, and big data QA environments is an advantage.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation abilities.

• Fluent in English with strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Familiarity with Jira, TestRail, or Zephyr, as well as AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, or Kubernetes is preferred.
