DevOps Engineer, Blockchain Infra

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain highly available cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure.

• Operate and enhance Kubernetes clusters within production environments.

• Oversee cluster autoscaling and capacity planning utilizing Karpenter and Kubernetes native technologies.

• Create and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.

• Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployment.

• Deploy and manage middleware platforms such as Kafka, Redis, and NGINX.

• Automate operational tasks utilizing Golang and Python.

• Enhance observability through monitoring, logging, alerting, and distributed tracing.

• Ensure platform reliability, scalability, security, and disaster recovery.

• Diagnose production incidents and conduct root cause analysis.

• Collaborate closely with software engineers to refine deployment processes and enhance platform developer experience.

• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineer.

• Strong proficiency with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Practical experience managing Kubernetes in production settings.

• Experience with Karpenter for Kubernetes autoscaling and node lifecycle management.

• Strong expertise in Terraform for infrastructure automation.

• Experience managing Linux systems and understanding networking fundamentals.

• Experience working with middleware technologies such as Kafka, Redis, and NGINX.

• Proficient scripting and programming skills in Golang and Python.

• Familiarity with Git, GitOps workflows, and CI/CD platforms.

• Strong understanding of observability tools such as Prometheus and OpenTelemetry.

• Knowledge of container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
