QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Grasp requirements and convert them into comprehensive test plans and cases, ensuring traceability of requirements.

• Carry out test cases, including regression testing, while recording results and monitoring testing progress.

• Document, track, and confirm the resolution of software defects in collaboration with the Engineering team.

• Engage with business stakeholders to clarify requirements and address testing-related inquiries.

• Partner with engineers to investigate defects and identify suitable solutions.

• Validate data across applications, APIs, databases, and data pipelines to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity.

• Develop and document testing processes, standards, and best practices.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of testing processes and data quality.

• Utilize AI tools to boost automation efficiency, data validation, and test coverage.

• Collaborate with Engineering and Data teams to guarantee high-quality software and dependable data.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in Quality Assurance.

• Practical experience with test automation using Playwright and/or Cypress.

• Proficient SQL skills and experience in validating data within databases.

• Experience in testing APIs and data-driven applications.

• Understanding of data quality, consistency, and integrity principles.

• Familiarity with GitHub and CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to document, troubleshoot, and communicate defects and test results.

• Strong organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple testing initiatives.

• Proactive attitude with a focus on enhancing automation, test coverage, and efficiency.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

• Interest and experience in utilizing AI tools to enhance automation efficiency, data validation, and test coverage.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
