QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Conduct testing on web casino, Android, and iOS game releases prior to their launch.

• Determine which products are ready for release and which require further development.

• Engage throughout the development lifecycle, from gathering requirements and estimating to final testing, launch, and maintenance.

• Execute black-box, white-box, integration, and performance testing across Web, Android, and iOS platforms.

• Monitor and document product issues in Atlassian Jira, analyzing problems using various tools.

• Replicate user needs and real-world usage scenarios.

• Contribute to team discussions, challenging requirements and acceptance criteria.

• Develop, implement, and continuously enhance test strategies and quality processes.

• Design, create, maintain, and optimize automated tests for Web, Mobile, and API.

• Automate engineering workflows, incorporating custom tooling beyond the standard automation framework.

• Review designs and code from others, offering constructive feedback.

• Identify areas for improvement in quality processes and opportunities for enhancement.

• Drive the development of QA documentation, standards, and best practices.

• Align QA processes across various departments and stakeholders.

• Facilitate the onboarding of new QA team members and ensure consistency in testing best practices across teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with substantial hands-on experience in test automation using Python.

• Proficient in Python programming, including the design and maintenance of test automation frameworks.

• Comprehensive understanding of various testing types (integration, end-to-end, regression, performance, and API testing), as well as test design techniques and quality processes.

• Experience in manual testing for Web, Android, iOS, and APIs.

• Familiarity with web debugging and API testing tools such as Chrome DevTools and Postman.

• Working knowledge of relational databases, preferably MySQL.

• Experience in automating tests for REST APIs.

• Experience in automating testing for mobile applications (Android and iOS).

• Experience in automating testing for web applications (using Selenium/Playwright).

• Proficiency with Docker.

• Experience in integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and contributing to release quality gates.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments, participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

• Facilitate the onboarding of new QA team members and maintain alignment of testing best practices across teams.

• Must have some overlap with the UK timezone to ensure daily collaboration.
