QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Advocate for AI-driven quality engineering methodologies utilizing AI-powered tools and agents

• Design and sustain automated testing frameworks along with quality validation solutions

• Conduct API, integration, end-to-end, performance, security, and scalability testing

• Establish and implement risk-based testing strategies for cloud-native SaaS applications developed on C#/.NET and Microsoft Azure

• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and architects throughout the software development lifecycle

• Develop reusable AI-enhanced testing workflows, prompts, and quality standards

• Assess enterprise software that integrates with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, and associated services

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, quality gates, testing environments, observability, defect prevention, and Agile delivery frameworks

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience

• 4+ years of experience in Software Quality Engineering, Test Automation, or Software Development within Agile product teams

• Proven track record of owning quality outcomes throughout the software development lifecycle, from requirements and design to release and post-release validation

• Proficient programming or scripting skills in C#, .NET, PowerShell, Python, TypeScript, or similar languages

• Experience in building and maintaining automated test frameworks and integrating quality validation into CI/CD pipelines

• Background in designing and implementing testing strategies across functional, API, integration, performance, reliability, and security testing

• Experience testing cloud-native applications deployed on Microsoft Azure or similar cloud services

• Hands-on experience utilizing AI-assisted development tools, coding agents, or agentic workflows

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for addressing complex issues across distributed systems

• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills within cross-functional Agile teams

• Preferred: Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, or related services

• Preferred: Experience with Playwright, Selenium, SpecFlow, Postman, REST Assured, or comparable technologies

• Preferred: Experience with GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, or similar tools

• Preferred: Experience in validating enterprise SaaS, identity management, cybersecurity, backup and recovery, or systems administration products

• Preferred: Understanding of CI/CD platforms, cloud infrastructure, virtualization technologies, and secure software development practices

• Preferred: Working knowledge of application security concepts, OWASP guidelines, and common security vulnerabilities
