QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Turkey.

📋 Description

• Conduct testing for iOS and Android mobile applications as well as web applications prior to each release.

• Adhere to release checklists while also exploring areas beyond them.

• Engage with applications as real users would and test in unexpected manners to uncover defects.

• Document bugs with reproduction steps, screenshots or screen recordings, device specifications, and operating system information.

• Validate fixes and carry out regression testing.

• Perform testing across various devices, operating system versions, and screen sizes.

• Emphasize testing on onboarding processes, purchases, and subscription flows.

• Keep an eye on app store reviews and user feedback to discover previously unnoticed issues.

• Utilize AI tools to enhance testing efficiency and share effective practices with the team.

• Take responsibility and lead initiatives to achieve results.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in testing mobile applications and/or web applications, or a strong interest in Quality Assurance with a keen attention to detail.

• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

• Excellent communication skills.

• High attention to detail and the patience to replicate intermittent bugs.

• Familiarity with issue tracking tools such as Jira, Linear, or similar platforms.

• An inquisitive nature regarding AI tools.

• Ability to switch contexts comfortably and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Willingness to learn and accept constructive feedback.

• Basic scripting skills in Python or JavaScript, or experience with a test automation tool (preferred but not mandatory).

• Experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools (preferred but not mandatory).

• Background in testing in-app purchases and subscriptions (preferred but not mandatory).

• Familiarity with crash reporting and analytics tools such as Firebase, Sentry, Mixpanel, or similar (preferred but not mandatory).
