QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Develop, uphold, and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases for functional, performance, and security assessments.

• Design, create, and sustain automated end-to-end testing suites utilizing Cypress.

• Evaluate distributed applications and microservices within AWS environments.

• Integrate automated testing scripts into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.

• Identify, document, and monitor software defects using Azure DevOps or JIRA.

• Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure prompt resolution of defects.

• Lead QA initiatives and offer technical mentorship to junior team members.

• Promote quality engineering best practices throughout the development lifecycle.

• Oversee and advance the organization’s quality assurance activities.

• Ensure the delivery of high-caliber software.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active Secret clearance.

• Current CompTIA Security+ / IAT level II certification.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 8-10 years of overall professional experience.

• At least 5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.

• Minimum of 2 years in a Senior or Lead role.

• Practical experience and expertise in test automation using Cypress.

• Experience in testing applications deployed in AWS environments.

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps for test management, pipeline integration, CI/CD, and agile project tracking.

• In-depth knowledge of functional, regression, performance, and security testing methodologies.

• Must be a U.S. citizen.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.
