QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement thorough testing strategies across Mobile, Web, and backend services.

• Assess intricate end-to-end user experiences that encompass frontend interfaces and backend systems.

• Conduct API validation, ensure data integrity, and perform testing of business logic.

• Carry out cross-platform regression testing prior to releases.

• Identify defects using logs, network tools, and API inspection methods.

• Record, prioritize, and monitor defects while collaborating with engineers to resolve root causes.

• Manage test environments, ensure device coverage, and maintain dependable platform test data.

• Actively pinpoint quality risks during sprint planning and release cycles.

• Collaborate closely with Engineering and Product teams to identify risks early and avert production issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in testing Mobile, Web, and/or backend systems.

• Extensive experience in validating RESTful APIs and backend business logic.

• Strong grasp of software and testing lifecycle best practices (SDLC/STLC).

• Practical experience with API testing tools like Postman or comparable platforms.

• Capability to comprehend system architecture, integrations, and data flow.

• Comfortable functioning in a remote, dynamic, and evolving startup environment.

• High degree of accountability with a strong ability to work independently.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
