QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee and enhance Loadsmart's test automation framework.

• Introduce automated testing for edge cases and failure scenarios uncovered during manual testing.

• Conduct manual testing on tickets throughout the development cycle.

• Develop and implement test cases for edge cases, error conditions, and less favorable user journeys.

• Evaluate invalid data, unexpected sequences of actions, and boundary conditions.

• Utilize AI tools, including Claude, for designing test cases, conducting exploratory testing, and investigating bugs.

• Execute comprehensive regression testing prior to weekly releases for both web and mobile platforms.

• Produce clear and reproducible bug reports for the engineering team.

• Detect overlooked edge cases and failure scenarios to enhance test coverage.

• Assess features for Loadsmart's OpenDock, YMS, and SmartGate logistics solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• More than 5 years of professional experience in manual validation of web-based applications.

• Extensive knowledge in creating complex test scenarios for error conditions and edge cases.

• Demonstrated success in identifying defects through boundary conditions, invalid data inputs, and atypical user workflows.

• Experience in fast-paced environments with weekly release cycles.

• Technical expertise in maintaining and enhancing automation frameworks like Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.

• Practical experience with AI-driven tools such as Claude.

• Proficient in Jira or TestRail for generating detailed, actionable, and reproducible defect reports.

• Excellent communication skills in English.

• Capability to collaborate daily with cross-functional teams in both the US and Brazil.
