QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Design and maintain automated testing frameworks and suites utilizing Playwright and TypeScript for both UI and API testing.

• Collaborate closely with fellow QE team members to fulfill testing requirements for ongoing development.

• Upgrade and enhance AI skills, rules, and agents.

• Create detailed test plans and test cases derived from software requirements and design specifications.

• Execute and implement automated tests at end-to-end, integration, and component levels.

• Conduct API testing using Postman and automate API tests through Playwright.

• Incorporate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to facilitate continuous testing and quicker feedback loops.

• Review test outcomes, pinpoint defects, and work alongside development teams to address issues.

• Enhance testing procedures, tools, and methodologies.

• Partner with QA engineers and stakeholders to iterate on projects.

• Keep abreast of advancements in software testing, automation, and AI technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1-2+ years of experience in software quality assurance with an emphasis on automation.

• Familiarity with AI technologies.

• Proficient in designing and implementing test automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript.

• Experience in API testing with tools such as Postman and in automating API tests.

• Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and web application architecture.

• Proficient in TypeScript and JavaScript.

• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies, especially Docker.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging capabilities.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
