QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assess the safety of features before their release to pharmacists.

• Take ownership of regression testing and end-to-end User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with external healthcare clients.

• Develop documentation for use by other team members.

• Conduct manual testing and explore issues through hands-on click-through testing.

• Create test data generators for clinical scenarios.

• Design harnesses for evaluating non-deterministic output from language models.

• Construct MCP servers that are integrated with the company’s technology stack.

• Develop internal agents to streamline repetitive Quality Assurance (QA) tasks.

• Write tools that are essential for other engineers.

• Automate front-end testing processes using Playwright.

• Test APIs and integrations with Postman.

• Utilize Playwright MCP and agentic workflows on production features.

• Collaborate daily with engineers delivering new features.

• Report directly to the VP of Engineering while working closely with the QA Lead.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in QA or software testing, with substantial knowledge of web applications and APIs.

• Proficient in Playwright, with a sound understanding of when to automate versus manually test.

• Extensive manual testing and UAT experience, including conducting UAT with external clients or providers.

• Experience with enterprise-level products.

• Familiarity with AI tools in daily tasks, or direct experience in testing AI-driven products.

• Strong technical background: a computer science or quantitative degree from a reputable institution, or a career progression that demonstrates capability.

• Experience in healthcare, health technology, or pharmacy is advantageous.

• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, handling of PHI, and clinical data accuracy is beneficial.

• Ability to work effectively with the UK-based engineering team.

• Must currently reside in the US, as confirmed by the application question.

• Must indicate whether employment visa sponsorship will be necessary.
