This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Establish node labels and edge types that illustrate relationships among designers, garments, style attributes, trends, occasions, and editorial articles.

• Develop batch processes to import structured JSON data into the graph database.

• Correlate extracted item mentions with product nodes in a catalog of over 50,000 SKUs by utilizing attribute-overlap scoring and confidence thresholds.

• Eliminate duplicate items that appear inconsistently in various articles.

• Allocate relationship weights based on editorial significance to enhance AI-agent recommendations.

• Create and refine openCypher traversal and multi-hop queries to deliver pertinent results in less than three seconds for Amazon Bedrock Agents.

• Work alongside Machine Learning and GenAI Agent Developers to ensure the graph structure meets retrieval and recommendation requirements.

• Assist in conducting technical interviews and validating new members of the graph database team as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in English (C1 or higher), with the ability to communicate independently with international stakeholders.

• Extensive experience with Amazon Neptune and the property graph data model.

• Skilled in writing and optimizing openCypher queries, including multi-hop traversals under latency constraints.

• Experience in designing graph schemas and assessing trade-offs among various modeling techniques.

• Proven background in building entity resolution logic, incorporating fuzzy matching, scoring algorithms, and deduplication across different data sources.

• Strong Python programming skills for data engineering, including batch processing of structured data payloads.

• Capability to work autonomously in a dynamic, staff augmentation environment with an established client team.

• Previous experience in fashion, retail, or e-commerce catalogs (preferred).

• AWS certification in databases or data analytics (preferred).

• Experience in integrating graph databases with generative AI agents, such as Amazon Bedrock Agents (preferred).

• Familiarity with recommendation systems or ranking/weighting logic for content surfacing (preferred).
