This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Establish node labels and edge types that illustrate the relationships among designers, garments, style attributes, trends, occasions, and editorial content.

• Develop workflows that utilize structured JSON payloads to batch load data into the graph database.

• Correlate extracted item mentions with product nodes in a catalog exceeding 50,000 SKUs by employing attribute-overlap scoring and confidence thresholds.

• Eliminate duplicate items that appear inconsistently across various articles.

• Assign weights to relationships based on the visibility of items or trends in editorial materials.

• Create and optimize openCypher traversal queries, including multi-hop queries, to ensure relevant results are returned in less than three seconds for Amazon Bedrock Agents.

• Work in conjunction with Machine Learning and GenAI Agent Developers to ensure the graph structure meets retrieval and recommendation requirements.

• Assist in technical interviews and validate new team members for the graph database workstream.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in English (C1 or above), with the ability to communicate effectively with international stakeholders.

• Extensive experience with Amazon Neptune and the property graph data model.

• Skilled in writing and optimizing openCypher queries, including multi-hop traversals while adhering to latency constraints.

• Experience in designing graph schemas and assessing trade-offs between various modeling strategies.

• Proven track record in developing entity resolution logic, including fuzzy matching, scoring algorithms, and deduplication across data sources.

• Strong proficiency in Python for data engineering tasks, particularly in the batch processing of structured data payloads.

• Capable of working independently in a dynamic, staff augmentation environment alongside an established client team.

• Previous experience in fashion, retail, or e-commerce catalogs is a plus.

• AWS certification in databases or data analytics is advantageous.

• Familiarity with integrating graph databases with generative AI agents, such as Amazon Bedrock Agents, is beneficial.

• Knowledge of recommendation systems or ranking/weighting logic for content surfacing is a plus.
