QA Automation Engineer – Part-Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Design and automate web, mobile, API, and end-to-end tests using the ZeuZ platform.

• Define, execute, and maintain automated regression suites, focusing on critical flow coverage of the platform.

• Generate detailed testing evidence (logs, screenshots, and reports) for each testing cycle.

• Analyze execution results to diagnose actual failures, identify false positives, and maintain suite stability.

• Work closely with development teams to report, prioritize, and track identified bugs.

• Propose continuous improvements aimed at reducing effort and time spent in regression cycles.

• Integrate automated test execution within the client’s CI/CD pipeline when applicable.

• Train and support the internal team in the effective adoption and use of the ZeuZ tool.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2 to 4 years of proven experience in test automation (QA Automation).

• Previous experience with no-code / low-code testing tools assisted by AI or a strong willingness to learn and specialize in ZeuZ.

• Solid knowledge in testing web applications, mobile apps, and API consumption (at least REST).

• Familiarity with agile methodologies and integration of tests into CI/CD pipelines.

• Analytical skills to diagnose actual failures in relation to suite instability (flaky tests).

• Minimum B2 (intermediate-advanced) level of English for communication, coordination, and documentation with the team.

• Must be based in Latin America.

• Bonus: Specific previous experience using ZeuZ or other AI-assisted testing platforms (like Testim, Mabl, or Functionize).

• Bonus: Prior background in traditional automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, Cypress, or Playwright.

• Bonus: Previous experience in the streaming industry, telecommunications, or software products with a high frequency of releases.
