QA Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Lead the initiative to enhance IONA’s testing methodologies and cultivate its testing culture.

• Develop and manage automated test scripts for the applications created.

• Establish and uphold automation testing frameworks utilizing suitable technologies.

• Act as an internal thought leader and primary resource for all testing-related inquiries.

• Disseminate testing knowledge and promote continuous learning and professional development.

• Collaborate with the testing team on client projects and chargeable assignments.

• Formulate testing strategies and execute testing best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in testing, encompassing automation, manual, performance, security, and usability testing.

• Experience in an agency or e-commerce environment is advantageous.

• Excellent analytical capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Proven experience in leading testing teams.

• Skilled in defining testing strategies.

• Familiarity with implementing testing best practices.

• Proficient in test management software and quality assurance methodologies.

• Awareness of industry trends and emerging technologies.

• Experience with or willingness to work with Jest, Cypress, Playwright, Robot Framework, Selenium, or other new testing tools.

• Comfortable and eager to collaborate within an international team.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficient in English.

• Preferably based in the Philippines.
