QA Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and uphold scalable automation frameworks and testing suites.

• Oversee the complete testing lifecycle utilizing both automated and manual validation methods.

• Construct and sustain unit, API, integration, and end-to-end automated tests.

• Execute and write automated and manual tests; assess logs, metrics, and defects.

• Collaborate with teams from Product, Engineering, Data, Scrum, product management, and development.

• Enhance requirements, testing strategies, and acceptance criteria.

• Incorporate testing procedures into CI/CD pipelines.

• Engage in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

• Document frameworks, test cases, and reporting metrics.

• Ensure adherence to HIPAA, FDA, and GDPR regulations.

• Provide stakeholders with updates regarding testing progress and outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).

• Over 3 years of practical software QA experience with an emphasis on writing automation test cases, ideally in the health tech sector.

• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.

• Proficient in Python, JavaScript, or similar scripting languages.

• Familiar with API testing tools and frameworks.

• Basic SQL skills for database validation and troubleshooting.

• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimal supervision.

• Familiarity with HIPAA, FDA, and GDPR healthcare regulations (preferred).
