QA Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Vietnam.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with Engineering and Product teams to formulate thorough testing strategies for new features and releases across web, API, and mobile platforms.

• Develop and maintain automated tests as features evolve.

• Gradually enhance automation coverage based on the backlog and minimize the extent of manual regression testing.

• Expand automated end-to-end, smoke, and regression test coverage across UI, backend, and mobile components.

• Create ad-hoc testing scripts as required.

• Prioritize and resolve flaky tests.

• Automate the testing of bugs identified manually or reported by customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Knowledge of trading workflows, including order matching, order lifecycle, market data, trade data, and risk management.

• Experience in testing REST API, Web-Sockets, GraphQL, and JSON-RPC protocols, particularly within trading systems.

• Familiarity with UI automation frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Cypress, or BDD Cucumber.

• Understanding of backend automation tools like Rest-Assured, Karate, PyTest, Postman, or SOAPUI.

• Knowledge of mobile automation frameworks such as Appium, Detox, or Katalon.

• Familiarity with test management software like Testrail, Jira Xray, Zephyr, or Allure.

• Experience with CI/CD tools including Github Actions, Jenkins, or AWS Codebuild.

• Familiarity with log analysis platforms such as Grafana, Splunk, Datadog, or ELK stack.

• Knowledge of Firebase, AWS Device Farm, Browserstack, or Lambdatest.

• Proficient in Python or Golang and Typescript.

• Prior experience with cryptocurrency exchanges, trading platforms, or fintech is preferred.

• Familiarity with Blockchain or DeFi applications and Web-3 wallets like Metamask is preferred.

• Experience with performance and load testing tools such as K6, JMeter, or Locust is preferred.

• Familiarity with security testing tools like OWASP ZAP or BurpSuite is preferred.
