QA Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with Engineering and Product teams to establish thorough testing strategies for new features and releases across web, API, and mobile platforms.

• Develop and maintain automated tests as features evolve.

• Gradually enhance automation coverage based on the backlog while consistently minimizing manual regression efforts.

• Expand automated test coverage for end-to-end, smoke, and regression tests across UI, backend, and mobile components.

• Create ad-hoc testing scripts as required.

• Prioritize fixes for flaky tests to ensure reliability.

• Implement automated tests for bugs identified manually and those reported by customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Knowledge of trading workflows, encompassing order matching, order lifecycle, market data, trade data, and risk management.

• Proven experience in testing REST API, Web-Sockets, GraphQL, and JSON-RPC protocols, particularly within trading systems.

• Familiarity with UI automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Cypress, and BDD Cucumber.

• Experience with backend automation tools like Rest-Assured, Karate, PyTest, Postman, and SOAPUI.

• Knowledge of mobile automation tools including Appium, Detox, and Katalon.

• Proficient in using test management tools such as Testrail, Jira Xray, Zephyr, and Allure.

• Familiar with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and AWS CodeBuild.

• Experience with log analysis tools including Grafana, Splunk, Datadog, and the ELK stack.

• Knowledge of Firebase, AWS Device Farm, BrowserStack, and LambdaTest.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Golang and TypeScript.
