QA Analyst – Smart Grid Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Design and uphold test cases for both new and existing functionalities of the Smart Grid platform.

• Execute and precisely document feature, regression, and release testing processes.

• Evaluate requirements for testability, completeness, and associated risks.

• Detect gaps in information, ascertain test data requirements, and identify potential risks at an early stage.

• Deliver clear and organized descriptions of defects and assist in tracking them until resolution.

• Work collaboratively with development, product management, support, and project teams on technical inquiries, test scope, and release risks.

• Continuously enhance QA processes and uphold quality standards.

• Ensure comprehensive test and product documentation is maintained.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in software quality assurance, preferably with SaaS, B2B platforms, web applications, or complex domain software.

• Educational background, vocational training, or equivalent qualification in a technical or IT-related field.

• Strong comprehension of test design, execution, and evaluation of software quality.

• Methodical, meticulous, and traceable approach to documenting test results and defects.

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar tools.

• Interest in energy networks, Smart Grids, and the relevant domain context.

• Proficient in both German and English, with the capability to communicate technical and domain-specific content effectively.

• Must reside in or possess work authorization for Germany or Austria.

• Initial experience with API testing or test automation is advantageous but not mandatory.
