QA Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Execute manual testing procedures and test plans for web-based applications.

• Validate functionality, usability, and performance specifications.

• Identify, document, and track software defects until resolution.

• Work collaboratively with developers and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and expected outcomes.

• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and Agile ceremonies.

• Assist with regression, integration, and user acceptance testing activities.

• Verify bug fixes and conduct retesting activities.

• Create and maintain testing documentation and test cases.

• Contribute to the enhancement of testing processes, standards, and quality metrics.

• Learn about and engage in test automation efforts where applicable.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field; or equivalent experience.

• 0-2 years of experience in software QA, testing, or a related field.

• Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

• Experience with application testing tools such as Azure DevOps Test Plans, JIRA, or similar platforms.

• Basic knowledge of SQL and database validation.

• Familiarity with web application testing.

• Knowledge of automated testing tools like Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.

• Understanding of API testing using Postman or similar tools.
