QA Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and uphold the strategy for systems testing.

• Develop and manage test scripts, artifacts, and scenarios.

• Oversee the progression of requirements from initial conception to final delivery.

• Implement proactive measures to guarantee the proper execution of tests.

• Facilitate the integration of quality practices throughout the development lifecycle.

• Confirm the quality of deliverables produced by development teams.

• Organize and carry out both functional and non-functional testing as necessary.

• Map and update critical paths within applications.

• Assist in user acceptance and approval processes with business stakeholders.

• Promote continuous enhancements in application quality in collaboration with the Certification team.

• Ensure traceability between requirements, tests, source code, and other necessary artifacts.

• Manage and produce test data, guaranteeing the availability of required datasets.

• Oversee environments, including the creation, configuration, maintenance, and alignment of development and testing environments.

• Contribute to improved quality, security, and efficiency in IT deliverables.

• Plan testing processes and create essential documentation, such as strategies, plans, test cases, scripts, test procedures, evidence, and test data.

• Create mocks, stubs, and simulators as needed.

• Maintain system cycles, batch routines, interfaces, and testing structures.

• Assess test cycle results and coverage.

• Document defects and associate them with the relevant work products.

• Analyze performance, perform security validations, and identify vulnerabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in test management and planning.

• Familiarity with test documentation processes.

• Experience in test automation, performance testing, and executing tests.

• Understanding of common software failures and errors.

• Knowledge of tools for test management, defect management, bug tracking, automation, performance testing, test planning, and execution.

• Familiarity with specialized tools for automation, performance testing, interface virtualization, and test data generation.

• Understanding of various testing types, including acceptance, compatibility, regression, integration, functional, and non-functional testing.

• Knowledge of exploratory, connectivity, vulnerability, stress, and load testing methods.

• Awareness of security practices as per OWASP guidelines.

• Knowledge of requirements notation in both agile and traditional frameworks.

• Hands-on experience with ATDD, BDD, and/or Specification by Example methodologies.

• A minimum of one certification is required: IBQTS ATC, ALATS CBTS, or a comparable certification; CTFL; BSTQB CTFL-AT; or ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level – Agile Tester.
