Python Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collect and evaluate client needs to suggest automation solutions.

• Create workflows that are in harmony with business objectives.

• Develop, test, and implement Python automations utilizing BotCity’s platform and industry best practices.

• Produce clear, maintainable, and reusable code.

• Adhere to team standards, participate in code reviews, and utilize Git for version control.

• Oversee, troubleshoot, and enhance production automations for optimal reliability and performance.

• Document processes, code, and architecture for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Offer technical support and training during project transitions or customer onboarding.

• Work collaboratively with project managers, QA, and clients to ensure successful and timely project delivery.

• Enhance development practices, tools, and project workflows.

• Complete automation projects within set timelines and defined scope.

• Regularly update stakeholders on progress and potential risks.

• Report directly to the Delivery Manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• Over 2 years of experience in Python development.

• Practical experience with automation or RPA projects.

• Strong understanding of APIs, data manipulation, error handling, and debugging techniques.

• Proficient with Git version control and GitHub Flow.

• Familiarity with MS Office/Excel, Google Suite, and Notion.

• Fluent in Portuguese.

• Advanced proficiency in English.

• Willingness to travel as necessary to support events and collaborate with the team.

• Demonstrates ownership and operates with a proactive and autonomous approach.

• Maintains a coachable attitude, builds trust, and collaborates with humility with clients and colleagues.

• Prioritizes customer needs and uses data to inform recommendations while committing to continuous learning.

• Preferred: experience in professional services, IT consulting, or customer delivery roles.

• Preferred: familiarity with Agile methodologies.

• Preferred: experience in a fast-paced startup environment that is in its early stages of growth.

• Preferred: knowledge of BotCity tools.

• Preferred: intermediate proficiency in Spanish.
