Python Backend Developer – Focus on AI Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Enhance the platform utilizing Python and FastAPI.

• Integrate AI agents, language models, and customer applications through APIs and integration tools.

• Safeguard customer data, ensure secure access, and maintain reliable Docker operations.

• Expand the existing React interface as necessary.

• Participate in technical decision-making within the team.

• Promote AI-assisted development methodologies.

• Develop and utilize established approaches as Skills.

• Interact directly with clients and offer technical guidance as a collaborative partner.

• Assume responsibility for production operations and uphold code quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in Python and backend development, preferably with FastAPI and asynchronous programming.

• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, OAuth 2.0, and external integrations, including effective error handling.

• Proficient with Docker/Docker Compose, Linux, and PostgreSQL.

• Experience with production applications, encompassing troubleshooting, updates, backups, and secure credential management.

• Familiarity with Git, automated testing, and foundational knowledge of JavaScript/React.

• In-depth understanding of AI-driven software development and proficient use of coding agents and coding harnesses.

• Confident in working with Skills and agent workflows.

• A self-reliant, dependable, and solution-focused work ethic.

• Eagerness to engage directly with clients and clarify requirements alongside the team.

• Plus: Experience with LLM APIs, tool calling, or MCP.

• Familiarity with Hermes, LiteLLM, Nango, or Presidio is a plus.
