Python Backend Developer, AI Applications

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Create, improve, and sustain backend services for AI-driven applications.

• Design, implement, and manage REST APIs utilizing Python.

• Develop and incorporate microservices.

• Connect AI services with various internal systems and data sources.

• Produce clean, maintainable, and thoroughly tested code.

• Engage in code reviews to uphold high standards of code quality.

• Package applications using Docker or Podman.

• Construct and oversee CI/CD pipelines.

• Deploy and manage applications within OpenShift or Kubernetes environments.

• Diagnose production issues and review logs for analysis.

• Enhance application performance, scalability, and maintainability.

• Work collaboratively with frontend developers, infrastructure engineers, and other development teams.

• Participate in discussions regarding technical design and architecture.

• Keep technical documentation updated in Confluence.

• Estimate development tasks and track work progress using Jira.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with Python.

• Proven experience in designing and developing REST APIs.

• Familiarity with Docker or Podman.

• Solid understanding of Git.

• Experience in building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.

• Proficient in both written and spoken English.

• Background in Agile development environments.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Ability to work autonomously and communicate effectively with technical teams.

• Language proficiency: English (German is an advantage).
