Publisher Development Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Identify and onboard high-quality publishers within the designated region.

• Develop strong relationships with publisher owners, monetization teams, ad operations teams, and programmatic decision-makers.

• Take the lead in outbound prospecting, conducting discovery calls, engaging in partnership discussions, and negotiating commercial agreements.

• Provide education to publishers regarding the advantages of the SSP, direct demand relationships, and monetization capabilities.

• Collaborate with account management, ad operations, and technical teams to facilitate seamless integrations and successful launches.

• Oversee onboarding timelines and partner communications throughout the integration process.

• Ensure precise pipeline management and CRM tracking.

• Cultivate long-term publisher relationships that emphasize revenue performance and retention.

• Act as a representative of the COOL company within the regional programmatic ecosystem.

• Independently drive strategic publisher growth across assigned markets.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in publisher development, SSP partnerships, programmatic advertising, or ad tech business development.

• Solid understanding of SSPs, header bidding, Prebid, and publisher monetization strategies.

• Preferably possess existing relationships within local publisher and ad tech ecosystems.

• Experience in onboarding or managing publisher partnerships is highly preferred.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Comfortable handling both commercial and technical discussions.

• Proven track record of closing and expanding publisher partnerships.

• A bachelor's degree is preferred.

• Familiarity with CRM platforms such as HubSpot or similar tools.

• Proficient in tools like Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office / Google Sheets, and Adobe Sign or similar contract management solutions.

• Self-driven with a strong sense of ownership.

• Relationship-focused and commercially motivated.

• Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented.

• Adaptable in dynamic startup environments.

• Strong cross-cultural communication skills.

• Fluent in English and the regional language relevant to the candidate's market.

• Availability to work primarily between 9:30 AM and 6:30 PM ET.

• Must possess a player/coach mentality, willing to both execute tasks and lead initiatives.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while setting and meeting deadlines.
