Public Sector Partnerships Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Arab Emirates (UAE).

📋 Description

• Oversee ElevenLabs’ interactions with governmental entities and officials throughout the Middle East, concentrating on AI governance, safety, copyright, privacy, transparency, data protection, competition, and digital rights.

• Establish and nurture connections with policymakers, regulators, industry associations, and civil society organizations.

• Track, evaluate, and provide guidance on new regulations that could affect the company.

• Represent ElevenLabs at conferences and industry gatherings.

• Assist internal policy formulation in collaboration with Legal, Safety, Security, and other departments.

• Offer strategic advice to company leadership regarding regional policy trends and their business implications.

• Advocate for the government’s adoption of ElevenLabs products and services alongside the GTM team.

• Develop and execute policy campaigns and impact initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in policy roles within the public and private sectors, whether in-house or at a firm, with a focus on AI and technology.

• Strong understanding of the regional AI policy landscape.

• Knowledge of AI governance, safety, copyright, privacy, transparency, data protection, competition, and digital rights.

• Proven track record in designing, advocating for, and influencing policy outcomes.

• Experience in coalition-building.

• Background in public policy within the UAE.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to brief government officials and policymakers.

• Proficiency in both English and Arabic.

• Enthusiasm for AI and emerging technologies.

• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment and work across functions.

• Ability to operate independently and navigate ambiguity.

• A proactive, solution-focused attitude.
