Public Sector Partnerships Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee ElevenLabs' interactions with government entities and officials throughout India, concentrating on AI governance, safety, copyright, privacy, transparency, data protection, competition, and digital rights.

• Cultivate and sustain relationships with policymakers, regulators, industry organizations, and civil society groups.

• Track, evaluate, and provide guidance on emerging regulations that affect the company.

• Represent ElevenLabs at conferences and industry gatherings.

• Assist in the development of internal policies alongside the Legal, Safety, Security, and other teams.

• Offer strategic advice to company leadership regarding regional policy trends and their business ramifications.

• Encourage government adoption of ElevenLabs’ products and services in collaboration with the GTM team.

• Establish and execute policy campaigns and impact initiatives that further company goals.

• Report directly to the APAC Regional Lead.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in public and private sector policy positions, whether in-house or at a firm, with a focus on AI and technology.

• Robust understanding of the regional AI policy landscape.

• Familiarity with AI governance, safety, copyright, privacy, transparency, data protection, competition, and digital rights.

• Proven track record in designing, advocating for, and influencing policy outcomes.

• Experience in coalition building.

• Public policy experience throughout India.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to brief government officials and policymakers effectively.

• Proficiency in English and Hindi.

• A keen interest in AI and emerging technologies.

• Capability to work cross-functionally in a dynamic startup setting.

• Ability to operate independently and navigate ambiguity.

• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
