This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design and implement RapidFort’s marketing strategy for the public sector in collaboration with Public Sector leadership, Sales, and the wider Marketing team.
• Create targeted campaigns aimed at generating awareness, engagement, pipeline, and revenue within federal and public-sector accounts.
• Formulate messaging and positioning customized for government security, DevSecOps, software supply chain, container security, and cloud-native modernization projects.
• Produce public-sector content such as solution briefs, presentations, case studies, web content, email campaigns, executive communications, and sales enablement materials.
• Manage marketing support for government and industry conferences, trade shows, roundtables, webinars, and partner events.
• Collaborate with Sales to establish account-based marketing programs for key public-sector accounts.
• Assist in joint marketing efforts with technology partners, systems integrators, resellers, and other members of the government ecosystem.
• Articulate RapidFort’s capabilities in relation to federal cybersecurity priorities, compliance requirements, and software supply chain initiatives.
• Create campaigns focused on government programs, contract vehicles, partnerships, and customer success stories.
• Oversee PR, analyst relations, social media, and thought-leadership opportunities.
• Monitor campaign performance, pipeline contribution, engagement, and ROI, making improvements based on results.
• Maintain a public-sector marketing calendar that aligns with sales priorities, events, government buying cycles, and company goals.
• Engage directly with senior leaders across Public Sector, Sales, Marketing, Product, and Engineering.
• U.S. citizenship is required for this role.
• A minimum of 5 years of B2B marketing experience, with significant exposure to marketing cybersecurity, cloud, infrastructure, DevSecOps, or enterprise technology to the U.S. public sector.
• Deep understanding of the federal technology and cybersecurity landscape.
• Proven experience in developing marketing programs aimed at federal agencies and government decision-makers.
• Knowledge of government contractors, systems integrators, channel partners, and public-sector procurement environments.
• Experience in crafting compelling technical and executive-level content.
• Excellent written communication and storytelling abilities, with a knack for simplifying complex cybersecurity concepts.
• Experience supporting field events, conferences, webinars, executive programs, and account-based marketing campaigns.
• Ability to work collaboratively with sales teams and translate field priorities into actionable marketing initiatives.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic startup environment where both strategy development and execution are required.
• Highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Preferred: Background in marketing cybersecurity or software supply chain security solutions to the federal government.
• Preferred: Familiarity with DevSecOps, containers, Kubernetes, software vulnerabilities, SBOMs, and software supply chain security.
• Preferred: Understanding of federal cybersecurity initiatives and frameworks, including Zero Trust, NIST guidance, and software supply chain security requirements.
• Preferred: Established relationships or experience within the federal technology, defense, or government-contractor ecosystem.
• Preferred: Experience collaborating with public-sector sales teams at a high-growth cybersecurity or infrastructure software company.
