This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +2 more states.
• Oversee a team of public-sector presales experts in technical consulting and enterprise architecture roles.
• Establish direction, manage deliverables, and meet revenue and expense targets.
• Address customer issues and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Act as the representative for the designated area to both sales and company management.
• Cultivate strategic executive relationships with external clients and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal and external resources to create customer solutions.
• Oversee individual and team performance while nurturing organizational talent.
• Lead presales operations and convert business objectives into utilization strategies.
• Identify and address regional presales coverage gaps, allocating technical skills to seize opportunities.
• Collaborate with sales and account planning teams to propel sales strategy and manage presales assistance.
• Assess and enhance operations, business practices, and organizational performance.
• Mentor teams on consultative, financial, and strategic selling for sophisticated enterprise IT solutions.
• Formulate business cases that align proposals with customer goals, strategies, and performance metrics.
• A university or Bachelor's degree is required; an advanced or Master's degree is preferred.
• More than 10 years of sales experience.
• Relevant management experience.
• Proven track record of managing progressively higher quotas or other sales-related objectives.
• Demonstrated success in managing resources to support complex, strategic sales and/or business goals.
• Business management capabilities, including strategic planning/execution, budget oversight, operations enhancement, resource allocation, and managing complex processes.
• Skills in strategic account support and negotiation with company and C-level clients.
• Excellent presentation and communication abilities.
• Capacity to forge strong executive-level relationships.
• Proficient in consultative, solution selling, and business development.
• Skills in developing business cases.
• Proficient in workforce planning, career development, and workforce management.
• Skills in coaching, supervision, performance management, skill enhancement, and change management.
