This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Develop and implement a business strategy for the designated territory, segment, or strategic market.
• Create a sales pipeline via direct outreach, referrals, conferences, partnerships, procurement portals, and contract mechanisms.
• Establish connections with public safety and government stakeholders, including chiefs, sheriffs, prosecutors, investigators, CIOs, CISOs, and procurement officials.
• Conduct discovery sessions to translate agency requirements into business and technical solutions.
• Formulate business cases focused on expedited investigations, decreased evidence-review time, reduced redaction costs, and enhanced security and disclosure.
• Organize demonstrations, executive briefings, workshops, pilots, and proof-of-concept assessments.
• Oversee the complete sales cycle from qualification through negotiation, award, and contract finalization.
• Lead or assist with responses to RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, cooperative contracts, and sole-source opportunities.
• Navigate the complexities of government procurement, grant funding, appropriations, budget cycles, and purchasing requirements.
• Cultivate partnerships with channels, systems integrators, and government contractors.
• Represent VIDIZMO at public safety conferences, association meetings, and industry forums.
• Maintain precise opportunity, activity, forecast, and customer data within the CRM system.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance outputs while ensuring accuracy, completeness, logic, compliance, and business alignment.
• Achieve performance metrics such as bookings, revenue, pipeline generation, customer acquisition, win rate, forecast accuracy, contract value, account development, and expansion.
• A minimum of five years of successful experience in enterprise software, SaaS, government technology, or public safety technology sales.
• Proven track record in selling to law enforcement, justice, or federal, state, county, or municipal government agencies.
• Demonstrated ability to create new pipeline through direct prospecting.
• History of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Experience in managing complex, lengthy, and multi-stakeholder government sales cycles.
• Understanding of public sector budgeting, procurement, contracting, and competitive solicitation processes.
• Capability to communicate effectively with agency executives, attorneys, investigators, IT and security leaders, and procurement officials.
• Strong skills in discovery, presentation, proposal, negotiation, and closing.
• Proficient in CRM for pipeline management and forecasting.
• Ability to work independently while coordinating with internal teams and partners.
• Willingness to travel for meetings, demonstrations, conferences, and partner engagements.
• Excellent English communication skills and experience in the U.S. market.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Preferred: established connections within relevant public safety and justice agencies.
• Preferred: experience in selling digital evidence, body cameras, RMS, CAD, redaction, video management, investigations, cybersecurity, cloud, or AI solutions.
• Preferred: familiarity with evidence handling, chain of custody, discovery, disclosure, FOIA, public records, retention, and digital evidence workflows.
• Preferred: working knowledge of the FBI CJIS Security Policy and associated security requirements.
• Preferred: experience with government contract vehicles, cooperative purchasing, resellers, distributors, and systems integrators.
• Preferred: experience in selling on-premises, private-cloud, dedicated-cloud, SaaS, or air-gapped solutions.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in business, criminal justice, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Depending on territory and customer assignments, selected candidates may need to undergo employment and fingerprint-based background screening, CJIS security-awareness training, confidentiality/security agreements, and maintain eligibility to access government facilities and Criminal Justice Information.
• Collaborate directly with executive leadership on strategic initiatives.
• Influence product development through valuable market insights.
• Operate within high-impact markets that yield real-world outcomes.
• Potential employment and fingerprint-based background screening, CJIS security-awareness training, and confidentiality/security agreements based on territory and customer assignments.
