This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.
• Lead a consistent, high-impact media presence focused on People priorities, encompassing AI workforce transformation, leadership development, and skilling initiatives.
• Provide guidance to key People executives and their teams regarding executive positioning.
• Identify and secure opportunities for bylines, awards, and speaking engagements at top industry conferences and events.
• Proactively propose and obtain feature stories, quotes, and message amplification across business, technology, policy, HR, and emerging media platforms.
• Advise internal stakeholders and coordinate communication strategies for sensitive matters.
• Manage external PR agency partners and translate PR strategies into impactful results.
• Monitor, assess, and communicate PR outcomes and results to stakeholders and leadership teams.
• Explore and implement generative AI tools, agents, and automated workflows to enhance PR operations.
• Over 7 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or related fields.
• Proven ability to establish and sustain relationships with top-tier business, technology, HR, or policy media.
• Demonstrated success in securing high-impact feature coverage.
• Experience in developing and implementing communication strategies for a specified portfolio or business area.
• Strong understanding of the competitive landscape and stakeholder requirements.
• Proven capability in crisis and issue management on sensitive subjects under tight deadlines.
• Experience in leading and collaborating on cross-functional campaigns and project timelines for multi-channel initiatives.
• Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to balance global communication objectives with functional and regional needs.
• Preferred: experience in artificial intelligence, people, HR, policy, or corporate culture communications.
• Preferred: a track record of developing and executing transformative corporate narratives during organizational changes.
• Preferred: established experience utilizing AI tools to streamline workflows or automate communication tasks.
• Preferred: experience in working with or managing external PR agency partners on integrated campaigns.
• Preferred: familiarity with measurement and analytics frameworks connecting PR programs to strategic outcomes.
