Public Relations & Communications Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Oversee and enhance communications initiatives for Payward’s product strategy and Kraken’s offerings in professional trading, derivatives, and institutional products.

• Design and implement comprehensive external communication strategies that align with Kraken’s business objectives.

• Elevate Kraken’s thought leadership within the professional and institutional client segments.

• Develop storytelling strategies focused on trading products, risk management, and market infrastructure.

• Cultivate spokespeople and formulate strategic messaging for executives, products, and market segments.

• Create company announcements, talking points, media statements, speaker submissions, pitches, and briefing materials.

• Foster relationships with institutional partners, trading desks, market data providers, communications teams, and external agencies.

• Employ a social-media-first approach to media relations and content creation.

• Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree is mandatory.

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in leading and executing communications programs and initiatives.

• Preference for candidates with experience in the crypto industry.

• Highly proactive, determined, and results-oriented individual.

• Exceptional writing, editing, and communication strategy skills.

• Capability to simplify complex topics and represent senior leaders' perspectives and voices.

• Experience in managing communications challenges with a geographically dispersed team.

• Proven ability to work directly with executives to enhance their presence, convey strong messaging, and refine presentation/interview skills.

• Demonstrated history of producing high-quality work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Experience in leading, mentoring, and scaling communications teams.

• Strong knowledge of and enthusiasm for the crypto industry.
