This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Assist in the planning, execution, monitoring, and enhancement of public health programs, projects, and initiatives.

• Collaborate with clients and partners to identify program needs, clarify goals, and create effective strategies.

• Perform research, environmental assessments, literature reviews, needs evaluations, and both qualitative and quantitative analyses.

• Analyze and integrate scientific, policy, programmatic, and operational data.

• Formulate program plans, work plans, implementation strategies, guidance documents, tools, and other operational resources.

• Monitor program objectives, timelines, milestones, deliverables, performance indicators, risks, and action items.

• Oversee program activities, pinpoint implementation challenges, and suggest enhancements.

• Aid in program evaluation, performance assessment, quality improvement, and analytical efforts.

• Offer technical assistance and programmatic support to public health agencies, programs, and partner organizations.

• Organize and lead meetings, workgroups, interviews, focus groups, briefings, training sessions, and stakeholder engagement initiatives.

• Coordinate activities among government, public health, healthcare, community, and other stakeholder organizations.

• Draft reports, executive briefings, presentations, meeting summaries, communication materials, and deliverables for clients.

• Convert complex information into clear, accessible, and actionable content.

• Report progress, findings, risks, and recommendations to clients, project leadership, and team members.

• Review work products for accuracy, thoroughness, consistency, and alignment with client requirements.

• Foster a collaborative team environment and exemplify quality, accountability, responsiveness, and client service.

• Undertake additional public health programmatic, analytical, operational, or advisory tasks as required.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, health sciences, health policy, health administration, epidemiology, social or behavioral sciences, biological sciences, public administration, public policy, or a related field.

• A minimum of ONE (1) year of professional experience in Public Health.

• Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST."

• A Master's degree in a listed or related field is preferred.

• Capability to manage multiple tasks and deliver accurate, timely, and well-organized work.

• Ability to research, analyze, synthesize, and effectively communicate qualitative or quantitative information.

• Proficient in communicating with both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Strong skills in organization, analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.

• Experience in supporting federal health clients or federal, state, local, tribal, or territorial public health agencies.

• Knowledge of public health systems, programs, policies, funding environments, and organizational structures.

• Experience in providing technical assistance, implementation support, or capacity building to public health programs or partner organizations.

• Experience in developing guidance documents, toolkits, reports, briefings, presentations, training materials, or other client-facing products.

• Proven experience working with multidisciplinary teams and diverse organizations within the public health system.

• Relevant certification in public health, project management, program evaluation, process improvement, change management, or a related field.

• Proficiency in data analysis, visualization, survey, project management, or collaboration tools.
