Virtual Adult Primary Clinical Therapist – Daytime

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct initial intake evaluations to establish diagnosis and assess program suitability.

• Implement Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

• Manage patients’ initial and ongoing insurance requirements.

• Meet individually with patients to evaluate their progress and inform treatment planning.

• Coordinate care with the individual providers involved in patients’ treatment.

• Evaluate patient progress and determine the necessity for a higher level of care or discharge.

• Communicate with patients’ family members or support networks as appropriate.

• Document in the electronic medical records system.

• Participate in crisis management activities.

• Provide group therapy sessions as required.

• Create and execute personalized treatment plans.

• Collaborate with outpatient teams and guide patients throughout their comprehensive treatment journey.

• Work in partnership with Group Therapists, Family Therapists, and Prescribers to deliver holistic care.

⛳️ Requirements

• Licensed Psychologist or Master’s-level therapist with a clinical license (mandatory).

• Proficient knowledge and experience in utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other evidence-based practices.

• Experience working with patients in crisis situations.

• Availability for shifts approximately from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Central Time.

• Preference for candidates who are based in Illinois or Minnesota and hold an active, full clinical license.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience post-Master’s degree is strongly preferred.

• Previous experience in partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, inpatient hospital, or residential settings is ideally preferred.
