PT Financial Coach – Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ecuador.

📋 Description

• Facilitate 30-minute individual virtual coaching sessions with members.

• Address financial subjects such as budgeting, debt management, credit oversight, retirement strategies, investment education, insurance fundamentals, and real estate purchasing.

• Offer impartial financial education; MSA does not market any financial products.

• Customize each session to align with the member's objectives, circumstances, and starting point.

• Briefly record the topics discussed following each session.

• Ensure member confidentiality is maintained at all times.

• Select coaching topics that correspond with areas of greatest expertise and establish appropriate availability.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial coaching, financial planning, or personal finance education.

• Knowledge of financial systems in Ecuador.

• Proficient understanding of budgeting, debt management, credit, retirement, investing, insurance, and/or home purchasing.

• Capability to articulate financial concepts in clear, accessible language.

• Proficiency in both English (spoken and written) and Spanish.

• Moderate technical skills — able to use a computer, basic software applications, and a CRM system independently to document sessions.

• Access to reliable high-speed internet and a quiet, professional environment for conducting sessions.

• A warm, empathetic demeanor coupled with professionalism.

• Certification in financial coaching or planning (such as CFP, CPA, CFA, licensed financial planner/bank wealth manager, or similar) is preferred.

• Experience in coaching diverse populations and financial backgrounds is a plus.

• Submit a concise cover letter, resume or CV, and any pertinent certifications.
