PT Financial Coach – Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Chile.

📋 Description

• Conduct individual 30-minute virtual coaching sessions with members.

• Discuss financial subjects including budgeting, debt reduction, credit management, retirement planning, investment education, insurance fundamentals, and home purchasing.

• Provide impartial financial education; neither MSA nor the coach will sell financial products in this position.

• Customize each session according to the member's objectives, circumstances, and starting point.

• Document briefly the topics addressed following each session.

• Ensure member confidentiality is maintained at all times.

• Select coaching subjects based on areas of strongest expertise and arrange availability around personal commitments.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial coaching, financial planning, or personal finance education.

• Knowledge of financial systems in Chile.

• Proficient understanding of budgeting, debt management, credit, retirement, investing, insurance, and/or home buying.

• Capability to explain financial concepts in clear and understandable language.

• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Spanish.

• Moderate technical skills, including independent use of a computer, basic software applications, and a CRM system for documenting sessions.

• Access to reliable high-speed internet and a quiet, professional environment to conduct sessions.

• Exhibits warmth, empathy, and professionalism.

• Certification in financial coaching or planning (CFP, CPA, CFA, licensed financial planner/bank wealth manager, or similar) is desirable.

• Experience coaching individuals from diverse backgrounds and financial situations is a plus.

• Candidates must submit a brief cover letter, resume or CV, and any relevant certifications.

• May need to undergo a standard background check and drug test.
