Psychotherapist – GA Licensed

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver virtual therapy services to students while they are in school

• Assist students in grades 5–12 along with their families

• Create, execute, and assess patient care plans based on identified needs

• Handle clients experiencing crises using therapeutic skills and assessment methods

• Formulate treatment plans according to diagnosis, age, and clinical presentation

• Develop discharge plans and oversee the termination process

• Collaborate with guardians and community organizations to ensure effective service delivery

• Complete patient care assignments and accurately document patient care and responses in medical records

• Ensure timely and precise billing information is completed

• Design, plan, and execute patient education initiatives

• Maintain communication and collaborate with the healthcare team to enhance patient outcomes

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree in a relevant human services discipline such as Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited graduate program is required

• Full licensure in the state of Georgia is mandatory

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience is required

• CPI and CPR training is essential for psychotherapists working in inpatient psychiatric settings

• Capability to provide virtual therapy services to students in grades 5–12

• Proficiency in developing, implementing, and evaluating patient care

• Ability to manage clients in crisis with appropriate therapeutic skills and assessment techniques

• Competence in writing treatment and discharge plans

• Skill in collaborating with guardians, community organizations, and healthcare teams

• Accuracy in medical record documentation and billing
