Psychiatrist, Child & Adolescent

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Perform thorough psychiatric evaluations.

• Develop precise diagnoses and craft personalized treatment strategies.

• Deliver evidence-based treatments and manage medications for anxiety, depression, ADHD, and mood disorders.

• Cultivate a collaborative, family-oriented treatment atmosphere.

• Inform families about mental health challenges and supportive practices at home.

• Conduct 60-minute virtual psychiatric intake sessions and regular follow-up consultations.

• Ensure consistent communication with members and families through virtual care technology.

• Engage in team meetings and collaborative care planning.

• Offer consultative assistance to fellow team members.

• Maintain precise and timely documentation of assessments, care plans, and progress notes.

• Utilize data analytics to evaluate outcomes and enhance care quality.

• Adhere to regulatory and quality standards.

• Participate in continuous professional development.

• Refer patients to evidence-based therapy and coaching services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist.

• Active licensure in at least one state.

• Preferred experience in providing telehealth therapy services within a virtual environment, though not mandatory.

• Proficiency in computer and live video tools, including Zoom, Google Meets, DoxyMe, and Skype.

• Proven skills in family engagement.

• Experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults.

• Knowledge of JCAHO guidelines.

• Competency in practicing within an accredited framework to ensure safety, quality, and compliance.
