Psychiatrist – Child & Adolescent, 1099 Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver evidence-based treatment through live 60-minute video intake sessions and regular follow-up appointments.

• Perform psychiatric evaluations and oversee medication management.

• Refer patients to evidence-based therapy and coaching services alongside psychiatric care.

• Carry out comprehensive psychiatric assessments, accurately diagnose conditions, and develop personalized treatment plans.

• Apply evidence-based therapeutic techniques and medication management approaches for anxiety, depression, ADHD, and mood disorders.

• Create a collaborative, family-oriented treatment environment while educating families about mental health concerns.

• Conduct virtual psychiatric consultations and maintain ongoing communication with patients and their families.

• Engage in team meetings and collaborative care planning.

• Offer consultative support to fellow team members.

• Keep precise and timely documentation of assessments, care plans, and progress notes.

• Utilize data analytics to evaluate outcomes and enhance care quality continuously.

• Ensure adherence to regulatory and quality standards while providing ethical, patient-centered care.

⛳️ Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with an active license in at least one state.

• Experience in delivering telehealth therapy services in a virtual setting (video and teletherapy) is preferred but not mandatory.

• Proficient in using computer and live video tools (e.g., Zoom, Google Meets, DoxyMe, Skype, etc.).

• Proven family engagement skills and experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults.

• Commitment to and understanding of JCAHO guidelines.

• Competency in operating within an accredited framework to ensure safety, quality, and compliance.
