Psychiatrist – Child & Adolescent, 1099 Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Deliver evidence-based treatment through 60-minute live video intake sessions and ongoing follow-up appointments.

• Perform thorough psychiatric evaluations and establish accurate diagnoses.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that cater to each individual's developmental stage.

• Manage medication for various conditions including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and mood disorders.

• Promote a collaborative, family-focused treatment atmosphere.

• Educate families regarding mental health topics and supportive practices at home.

• Conduct virtual psychiatric sessions while maintaining consistent communication with members and their families.

• Engage in team meetings and collaborative care planning initiatives.

• Offer consultative support to fellow team members.

• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of assessments, care plans, and progress notes.

• Utilize data analytics to evaluate outcomes and enhance care quality.

• Guarantee adherence to regulatory and quality standards, along with ethical, patient-centered care practices.

• Direct patients to evidence-based therapy and coaching services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with an active license in at least one state.

• Preferred experience in delivering telehealth therapy services in a virtual setting, though not mandatory.

• Proficiency in using computer and live video tools (e.g., Zoom, Google Meets, DoxyMe, Skype, etc.).

• Proven skills in family engagement and experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults.

• Commitment to and knowledge of JCAHO guidelines.

• Capability to practice within an accredited framework to ensure safety, quality, and compliance.
